The woman most likely had mental problems or committed family suicide out of poverty. Things like that are pretty common in poor areas of India and as much as it is disturbing this is reality and is well documented on the subject. Sad case, I hope kids rest in peace now and went to better place...

Pictures of kids really turn me off, too. To some, I suppose that's part of "documenting the entire scene", but I just find it deeply troubling. If their mother was responsible for their deaths, I guess she wound up where she belonged. But if she was the one with problems, she had no right to take other lives as well as her own.
