Eh, I certainly wouldn't call it typical. I've seen it on barely a handful of the thousands of photos I've examined and not a single one of the hundreds of autopsy reports I have reviewed (aside from a few cases where the decedent was menstruating at the time of death).

I'm not saying you're wrong, per say. I agree that is probably where the blood is coming from and it obviously does happen (albeit very very rarely) with some hangings. I just strongly object to your use of the word 'typical.' Unless the body has been suspended for 36+ hours and we're talking about purge fluid drainage (which can often drain from all orifices, including the vaginal vault) as a part of normal decomp, this symptom is anything but 'typical' when it comes to hangings.

i am always amazed at the concept of decency when it comes to death. I mean, take a look at the above photo: they can show a woman hanging DEAD but god forsakes, don't show her mamaries. WTF? Makes me LOL and feel sorry for the most of you all in this world.

why is it a 'damn shame?' I don't understand. She is dead. No coming back. Maybe you infer that there may not be an opened casket? Or maybe you are upset because you wanted to see a fresh dead body of a pretty woman? Maybe it is a shame (your thinking) that she was 'pretty' and all pretty woman shouldn't have to die? Maybe its a shame, because now she won't be able to spread her legs for men? Please explain. I am so tired of people saying it's a shame 99% of the time when a 'pretty' woman winds up dead.

why qualify death? Maybe its a way for you to cope with the concept of death? Death is death is DEATH and has nothing to do with age or disease. It sucks whether you've only be alive for 4 years or 99 years. I hope that clears things up and enables you to better come to terms with death.
