Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
No. She was not. A fucking belly does not equal pregnant. It can mean anything from a big lunch to early decomp bloat from intestinal gas to position during the photograph to just being fat. If I had a nickle for every time some guy on this forum called a fat chick pregnant, I'd have enough money to buy all your filthy houses and burn them to the ground for spite. 99% of the time if the decedent is pregnant, the news articles mention that fact. If the news articles mention it, I mention it. I didn't mention it because it isn't a fact. She's not pregnant. Oh and a double-fuck-you for complaining about the quality of the goddam photos. You don't like the pictures, go find better ones yourself and post them. Stop complaining about the quality of the images and be fucking happy that you get images at all. |

Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
Hey man, why so 'explosive' tonight? The fact that the newspaper doesn't mention means nothing, or do we think reporters know and write everything? ;-) Intestinal gas from decomposition is inconsistent with color of skin (we all know how they look like after 2 days), so let's better forget that quickly. It could also be water in her belly (ascites) or an ovarian cyst, but all this is higly speculative and we do have no hint at all for that. I mean, and this very friendly, we simply don't know if she was pregnant or not. According to the pictures of her alive we know she was in the upper range of bodymass index, with plenty of subcutaneous fat. She is in reproductive age, so before doing an X-ray of her pelvis, believe me you better make sure she is not pregnant... Moreover the belly looks smaller in the b/w pic, but this is can be misleading, too. She seems to wear the same shirt in most pics, whatever this means (poverty, or 20 similar shirts, or maniac, or coincidence, or pictures taken at the last day... we don't know) Regarding the dimension of her belly I personally would guess it is fat, but I cannot exclude an additional pregnancy (unless I have opened the womb during dissection, or tested a blood sample for beta-HCG). I plead for calming down, discussing the facts, and tolerating speculations. |

Re: Hanged Girls Thread Continued
1. Because, as is often the case, some guy who has never added anything to the site is popping up in the thread and complaining about the quality of the images I'm posting. I'd been taking a break from posting here for several weeks because I was getting tired of non-contributors jamming up my threads with complaints about things such as image quality of photos I didn't even take, but rather found at great time expense and posted here for their benefit. So I post something new for the first time in weeks and sure as shit, right off the bat, some guy with a lifetime post count of six is here saying that I am posting 'bad quality' images. In retrospect, I think he probably has a limited command of English and didn't actually mean any offense by it, but it was still irritating and disheartening to immediately see desultory remarks right after coming back from a break from posting. Hence my obvious aggravation. 2. You know as well as I do that the Latin American and most South American rojas papers throw the embarazada/gravida term around like candy in issues of both murder and suicide. If the reporters catch even a whiff of pregnancy off of a decedent, it is typically mentioned, most often right in the headline. Typically, not ALWAYS. But you do these searches too. You know how they write and what terms they favor. If they have any reason whatsoever to suspect a woman was pregnant when she died, it is included explicitly in the article more often than not. In this particular case, the article spoke at length about her young child and that she had been posting photos of the child on Facebook right before hanging herself, etc. There was no mention of pregnancy or supposed pregnancy in context, so after years of exposure to the rojas pages and their unique style of journalism, I feel quite confidant saying that she was very likely not 'embarazada', as it were. I reacted with such irritation to the question because it is repeated on this forum ad nauseum. I do not know or understand why so many people get all excited at the prospect of a woman being with child when she dies, but there's a whole sub-set of users here who practically LEAP at the chance to yell "Ohhh, looks pregnant!" at any female who visibly clocks in over 9 stone. Speculations themselves never bother me and, in fact, I tend to welcome them. Except when they are coupled with rude remarks about image quality or when they insist on speculating upon the same tired, trod-over ground again and again, such as the incessant fascination with assuming every fat chick has a bun in the oven. Edit: Oh and in answer to your own speculation, yes, the photos of her wearing that same shirt (including the postmortem image) were all taken on the day she died, according to the news source. The antemortem ones came from her FB page. |
