Thanks - just happy to have found a couple of reasonable good hangers - I've got so many from you and others, and it is nice to give something back.

I agree with you on the ligature marks. I am not quite sure how long she has hanged, but as I read the text it is at least over night, so there is a good fixed mark.

Btw - even if the first image of the teen is unsharp, it is possible to see the ligaturemark on her neck too. But of course not in the same detail.

This is an all time classic. However due to the confusion of the source of the original police video footage, many people thought it was from early 1990's Tokyo, Japan. Actually, the story happened in Brazil around the same time. The police video was latter archived by the Japanese authorities probably for training purposes.

The the following is the story of this tragedy according to lovely disgrace website:

Brazilian female named Maria Aparecida, just 17-year-old hanged herself to death with an electric wire, neighbours reported the possible cause of her suicide was her second pregnancy, for her religion does not permit abortion so she decided to end her life first in order to abort her baby, cause living in extreme poverty and having one more mouth to feed could make life more difficult and bringing more suffering for her and their family. She left a husband and one son.

Look, as much as we all appreciate your participation in the thread, this is not the place for 'all time classics.' This vid and its accompanying screen shots (not sure why you felt the need to post both) have been posted on this site before, more than once, as well as on every single gore and shock site on the internet in the last 10 years. They may be new to one or two people who have been living under rocks, but most readers of this thread will have seen them before...many times.

Because this thread (like its predecessor) generates a lot of new material and tends to get bloated quickly, it is best not to bog the thread down with stuff that you know everyone has seen before. It makes it harder to sift through and find the new stuff and will wind up getting this thread closed too when it reaches 200 pages in less than a year.
