It seems like, each year, new photos of this case will appear in the newspaper. This year we see her in wet jeans. Next year we may be able to see her antemortem photos, hopefully.

Nice work digging this up. The police detective who wrote a book based on this case indicated in his notes that a garbage truck had driven right by the tree less than an hour before the body was called in and photographed. The garbage men said she wasn't there at the time, so it is likely that she's been dead less than 60 minutes in the hanging photos included here.

I had read previously while researching these photos that Alex Iglesias had taken a photograph that showed that the girl was wearing denim overalls (and not a bride's dress as was originally reported in the story), but it was never published in the articles I found because it was 'too explicit.'

I wonder if this was the photo in question. It seems a lot less 'explicit' than most hanging pics we see here, though I am sure Spain is more rigid about such things than Mexico. Still can't see much of the body in this image, though as Annihilator pointed out, it does demonstrate that she urinated heavily in death, so maybe that's what they were referring to.

Edit: Nope, there were additional photos. The one I was referring to is one of her right after she was cut down and lying on her back on a stretcher with no sheet to cover her. I am attempting to contact the original photographer to see if he is willing to share any additional pic(s) with me.

21yo Thai girl was found dead of hanging in a dormitory lavatory. She had tied a noose to the handle of a faucet and hanged herself in a seated position. The report said there was no sign of foul play. Her sandals were stacked next to the doorway. She was estimated to have been dead about 15 hours when she was found by the housekeeper of the dorm who went in to clean the bathroom. Most of the images are unfortunately censored, but the articles gave a mix of details (depending on source). She had a ligature burn around the neck from the noose. Her body was in fixed rigor, down through her legs, which were rigid. Her hands were clenched, her tongue was protruding, and her jeans were wet (the translation didn't specify, but I assume they meant with urine).

CCTV cameras showed her entering the dorm alone, dressed in the same clothes. No one went in after her.
