EDIT: I downloaded it and can watch it just fine on my computer. Every time I try to upload it, it claims to upload with no trouble (flv is a valid upload extension), but the video won't play. Anyway, I have it saved on my HD. I'll dick around with the file format and upload it as soon as I get it serviceable (assuming someone hasn't done it by then). |

It is fairly common due to how much easier it is than the 'long drop' method. It takes less rope, less time, and provides less visibility wherewith people can see and stop you from your plans. Of course, what most people don't realize is that it can be a much uglier way to die than the ;long-drop neckbreak. Sure, sometimes when you hang without a drop the air supply is cut off quickly and you pass out nice and peacefully. But it is just as common to strangle and choke and suffer for upwards of a minute before you finally black out and expire. |
