Victim may be a female pedestrian who got hit by a car.Can't really tell the sex as the face & figure are pretty mutilated by the impact.That would explain the bag.Although a male purse-snatcher doing a runner across a busy street & getting mown down is also likely.Either that or we have an early trendsetter with a proto-version of the man-bag.

That pic comes from mexican gore magazine "Alarma!" which
is still being published, think of it as a weekly DocumentingReality
magazine, gory accidents, vicious murders, passion crimes,
natural tragedies, you name it, it's there!
I started reading those since I was about nine years old
and got my taste for gore since then.
I remember watching that picture, it was a woman who got run over
on a street crossing in a northern mexican city, i don't remember
the exact details since it's almost thirty years ago.
