Group of Kidnapped Men Found Shot, Tied up and Partially Burned
Ecuador. According to relatives, 6 people were kidnapped hours earlier by hooded subjects wearing clothing similar to police and military and found shot and burned to death next to a Hyundai. Five victims were identified as Jeisson A. V. M. (19), Fabio A. M. V. (44), Carlos F. V. M. (23) Rody R. O. Z. (31) and Ramón M.M.P. (33). The sixth man, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, was also found dead. All presented wounds compatible with firearms and ballistic evidence were located at the scene, including ten 9mm caliber and a 40 caliber shot shells. Authorities keep the investigation open.     |

Definitely looks like a machete was involved as well. Ecuador is seriously rivaling Mexico the last couple of years.
