Looks really suspicious to me, she was obviously a woman who was very concerned with her appearance, she would be far more likely to shoot herself in the heart or take poison to preserve her looks. Also a .357 would have recoiled away from her head and probably right out of her hand, unless the police put the gun back in place for the pictures this was staged.

I would say at first glance it is definitely suicide, regardless of mob connections and motives. She has blood spatter on her right hand around the gun. I bet if you remove the hand, I would bet there will be no spatter where her hand was sitting.

If it was a suicide, then I'd just say that whoever decides to end their own lives by a headshot, doesn't really give a fuck what they look like after death... The suicide note? "I was scammed, I'm sorry?" Seems suspicious, especially when written by a lawyer who is used to drag all kinds of scum out of the baddest shit imaginable, you'd just think that she is smart enough to avoid or come out of the situation like this without a bigger trouble... If we don't really know what happened, then we could just speculate over the reasons, nothing more.

Holy crap! Her other eyeball is tangled in her hair. I'm pretty suspicious for all the reasons given by everyone else. She's a well-to-do attorney who is 6 months pregnant, she's married and not living in poverty. Given the financial security, etc, she'd be nesting and preparing for her baby. I'm also suspicious because (if it's a suicide) she used a gun, and based on the photo of her in life, she cared about her appearance. A woman who cares about her appearance would want to leave a pretty body.

I don't know much about firearms, but based on what everyone has said, the lack of recoil is pretty suspicious and she looks rather staged.
