I just read the details and honestly I don't think the shooter deserves life. Definitely needs jail time and therapy though. Honestly this kid(king) was making life miserable for Brandon.

He asked him to be his valentine right in the middle of his Basketball team's practice. Which lead to his team ridiculing him. Then the kid starts stalking him with high heels and makeup on during school hours vocally calling out to him in the halls.

I know if I was straight(or not out of the closet) and had the immaturity of a schoolboy I might do something stupid as this kid. I probably wouldn't have shot him in the head...but it still probably would have been a felony.
