I did report it for it being pointlessly bumped up. Hopefully a mod will delete the recent comments so it won't be on the front page any more. It pisses me off when people do this, it pushes down all the recent threads + sometimes onto the next page.

I systematically go through every page when I'm bored, currently on page 210 (thanks for your many contributions btw) and there's been many times I've wanted to add to the conversation, but generally refrain from doing so for the very reasons you just stated. For the sake of correcting someone's grammar though? That irritated me so I had to say something. Especially since English isn't even the guy's first language. |

Thank you! I agree, correcting the English grammar/spellings of a foreigner in such a rude way was uncalled for + even more so for bumping up a 9 year old thread. I'm the same, I've wanted to comment on an old thread but just left it as it wasn't adding anything new. I only do it if I have more info/imagery.

He knows nobody is gay bashing I'm sure he reacted because he was disturbed by the fact that gay lovers were killed in their own bed. Even though the article doesn't specifically state what happened, nine times out of ten because of different cultures, a lot of homosexual people get because of religious reasons and just being homophobic. If I put my money on it, those guys were probably murdered for being gay. |
