In São Caetano on 2nd July 2017, Sarah Carolina da Silva de Souza, aged 19, was at a party. She was searched + then released. She came back armed with a gun, on the back of a motorcycle. She spat at the police, said that they were worthless + started shooting. One officer was injured in the knee + the other was saved by a bulletproof vest when his chest was shot at. The police retaliated. She was shot in her stomach + leg, she died. She was the well-known leader of a gang called 'Carolzinha' + was a drug trafficker, a thief + a murderer. At the age of 15, she was suspected of at least 5 homicides. On 10th October 2011, Sarah was arrested on suspicion of killing 19 year old Gracielle Priscila Pereira Gonçalves. The victim's cousin + boyfriend witnessed the murder. Apparently Sarah killed Gracielle to avenge the execution of a friend. When she was of 'legal age', she was imprisoned for a month + 20 days. On her FaceBook page, she always sought to reaffirm the "power" she had in the world of crime. Always surrounded by friends and girlfriends, Sarah liked to flaunt pictures of parties + trips.      |
