Monday 4 ATM robbers were killed in a shoot-out with the police.
Two rifles, three pistols and ballistic vests were seized. No police officer was injured.
The guy with the M16....Notice that it is jammed.I bet he popped out of there fired a burst and realized

Not sure if jam or just a spent shell casing laying on top of bolt?
The weapon looks stovepiped; I'd say it's a jam.

The weapon looks stovepiped; I'd say it's a jam.
Now that I look more closely at it I believe you're right. Looks as if the rear part of the casing caught the bolt and turned it 180 degrees and stuck.
