An interesting note on this one: In statistical research, very few women have been recorded using a shotgun (or any gun) to the face (generally opting for A-overdose, B-hanging, C-slitting of the wrists). It is believed that this is due to them wishing to "preserve" their looks even in death. Is this due to society putting so much importance on a woman's looks that, even at the point of death, women are ingrained so deeply that they will not destroy their face? A curious question. Speaking from a personal standpoint, at a time when I had considered suicide, my shotgun was my first and only choice. I wanted the job done, and done correctly. It is a known fact here on D.R. that, due to a "misfortune", I lost my face some years ago, so physical looks mean very little to me. Is this why the thought of using a shotgun did not disturb me? the last one is a seriously wounded american soldier from afghanistan or irak, not suicide The shotgun, the 44. and 357 magnum and the 7.62 gas operated guns in close range made nasty suicides  |
