This one is NOT a firearm to the face, but I found the damage comparatively similar in sheer brutality and over-all destruction. This is a self-inflicted chainsaw wound. The man wanted to reconcile with his ex-wife and she said "no". He went home, fired up his chainsaw and proceeded to ram it into his face. He did not survive. You have to be at the very depths of dispare to be able to do something like this. A note about why I made this thread: I do not enjoy suicides. I hate these pictures. Pictures like these saved my life. When I had been contemplating my own suicide via .12 guage, On a whim I went to the 'net and began looking up pictures of what it would do to me. We had already lost 2 people in the family to suicide-my father and my niece. Seeing the stark reality of the outcome of this type of action was very sobering, and gave me cause to put my shotgun down. No problem was so great that it had to be solved with my blood. This is reality. There is no "reset" button. You will not "spawn" again somewhere else. This is the period at the end of a sentence, the last page in your book, and how your loved ones will remember you. This will be your legacy. If you are contemplating this, I ask you to reconsider. I did, and I'm thankful for that. I'm glad to be alive and here today. If we do not learn from the mistakes of others, we will, indeed, commit the same mistakes ourselves. Please don't.
