IT IS CALLED SKY BURIAL. THE ALLOW BIRDS, BUZZARDS, ETC. TO EAT EVERYTHING (but usually the hair remains) AND ALL GOES TO GOD AND TO FEEDING THE EARTH.
SOME NATIVE AMERICAN TRIBES DO THIS AND SOME BUDDHISTS (THAILAND YOU SAID) AS WELL.
