Re: Female Trial Lawyer Executed While on Vacation
No one would expect such violence in a high-class establishment like that.

Re: Female Trial Lawyer Executed While on Vacation
Oh I get it now...she wasn't a God damned "trial lawyer", she was a prosecutor. That's way different. Now I get why she was murdered. Usually prosecutors in Central/South America have body guards and are themselves armed. It's quite odd that she wasn't. He'll, even most prosecutors in America are armed now.

Re: Female Trial Lawyer Executed While on Vacation
"Trial lawyer" was the phrase used in both of the articles I referenced. It is just as likely that she let the wrong client get convicted as it is that she actually prosecuted the case. As I said, though, no clear motive has been established. The articles weren't specific as to her actual involvement in any Cartel-related convictions. It also mentioned that she may have owed money to someone. Her husband was also former military, which could have made him the target. Military personnel have often been used to back up the policia in heavier raids against Cartel strongholds over the past few years. There are several active theories as to motive at the moment and none were specifically confirmed. |
