It was. those are experimental products from Danao, Philippines gunsmiths. they also have 1911 modified to fire the whole clip rapidly like a submachine gun.

Ive seen one of those as i am also a gun enthusiasts since my deceased father was a soldier and was always taking us to firing range since we were young. bore on those shotgun pistols are over sized thus lessening recoil and the pellets are already scattering even before it left the barrel.
