I think the scene is fresh and your looking at a normal amount of urine released at death from a semi full bladder. Photos are soon after death. Good find.

Yeah, I expect you're correct. TBH, it was such a ridiculous mess that I actually assumed she landed in a puddle or was holding a water bottle or something when they shot her. I mean, it's everywhere. And I update the Bladder Release thread on this forum so I see a lot of peri-mortem urine voids. Anyway, I spoke to a couple of responders from the scene and they both confirmed during the course of the discussion that it was, in fact, urine in the photos. I guess the poor woman just really had to go...so she did.  You're likely right about the freshness of some of the images. You'll notice that some of the later pics (after the police tape is put up) show that the urine has mostly dried up and is no longer visible on the ground. I expect if we had more photos taken in the immediate aftermath of death (instead of an hour or two later, as is common), there'd be more of this sort of thing to see. Oh well, into the Bladder Release thread she goes. |

The idea was floated by a few sources, but after investigation it generally seems to be a dipshit carjacking with no deeper motive. They caught the killers and she had no affiliation or ties to them that anyone could find.
