This 39 year old lawyer was murdered in a parking lot when getting into her car. She had been going for a brisk walk while waiting for her daughter in a nearby park to finish ball practice.

Several men surrounded her with firearms and demanded she hand over the keys to her Suzuki truck. News accounts differ as to whether she resisted and they shot or or whether she complied and they shot her anyway. Whatever the case, they shot her once in the chest and took off in the Suziki. It was a fairly crowded area so multiple people called the police, who responded quickly, but the woman was dead where she fell, face down.

The news tory went out onto social media very quickly along with her license plates and a photo of the truck. The assailants were identified and captured within an hour.

Unfortunately, she was dead in the parking lot so it didn't matter much to her. She was a prominent and popular local figure, so the story was big news in the area and many people are sad for her passing. Photos were being pulled and censored as quickly as they were being posted. Dead lawyer photos are somewhat tough to find since the news sites are always afraid of getting sued.

Anyway, as a result some of these will be partially censored and some will be watermarked. Best I could do.

Speaking of watermarking, I've been researching crime cases and photos for almost twenty years now. I am not sure I have ever seen a homicide victim who urinated herself while dying as badly as this poor lawyer did. No wonder she was walking briskly, she musta been holding it for hours.

I don't know what type of law she practiced other than to say it made her well-liked in the community. And suppose she was a public defender? What then would be your point with the snide commentary?

That life contains sad ironies?

That the Constitutional RIGHT to legal representation for all accused (the very foundation of many civilized justice systems today) is some sort of crackpot liberal agenda and should be removed?

That a public defender who performs their vocational job function and makes a strong effort to advocate on behalf of their client must be some sort of raging liberal?
