Female Getaway Driver Shot Dead
On the evening of 21st July 2018, 21 year old Rayane Santos Santana Maú was shot dead.

Rayane, according to witnesses, was in the driver's seat of a car waiting for her 2 passengers. Her passengers, however, were robbing a building for money. The place they were robbing was being manned by an off duty police officer. With a gun pointed at the officer, he managed to stop the robbers + they fled. One of the robbers tried to get into the car that Rayane was waiting in. Shots were fired + Rayane was shot in the back of her head. She got out of the car to try + get help but died. The robber was shot in his chest + was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
