It looks like he has bilateral femur fractures in the picture where the lady is performing CPR and the other woman holding C-spine. Although, his feet don't give away the "obvious" femur fracture positions, but he was moved to the backboard and that might be why. I suspect pelvic fractures too with the way he is lying along the curb. That is a lot of blood and a lot to come from his mouth and nose. I don't see any coming from his right ear, so there probably wasn't any coming from his left. The blood is pretty bright which is indicative of arterial blood. It makes me wonder if an artery was ruptured. Maybe in the esophagus or stomach. Possibly the heart or lungs. I wish there was a way to obtain info on some of these cases where we discuss what we think may have happened vs. what actually happened. It could be a DR game app! |
