I don't think it's fake. This is not a fatal wound, the cut is from the bridge of the nose through the face, no organs or major vessels here. Probably a hell of a lot of nerve damage though. Plus I think the guy is standing up, see the shadow behind his head? Awesome pic-I love that kind of shit.
