Re: Exhumations

See,folks, this is why cremation is a good idea.
When my mother died,I had enough horrors imagining her in the hospital morgue without picturing what would happen if she was left to rot in the ground. Also,if you've ever read 'Go Ask Alice' where teen addict Alice has a bad trip and imagines the maggots eating her recently deceased grandma you'll never want your loved ones to end up like this. Cremation is quicker, cleaner and if you have any religious or spiritual leanings you can use the'phoenix rising from the ashes' analogy.
Yes,in the end, they're both just ways of getting rid of dead flesh, but at least with cremation, nobody's going to move you if they sell the cemetary or have to reinter a messy bloated corpse if a flood makes the coffins float. And you won't end up on display in a museum in 400 years time either.

Re: Exhumations

yeah idk...I want to be buried when i go, but these pics can make someone think about going the cremation route...but, I know i'll be dead, but the thought of my body burning doesn't settle well with me.

Re: Exhumations

cant imagine the smell...

and yes, sometimes I think about cremation as a good idea, actually, better than been inside a small coffin for the rest of eternity.
