Dogs aren't known for turning over corpses. They will start from whatever is readily available. Face down and ass up, where do you think Fido will start chewing? (A general point, not intended to apply to this specific case.)

When I feed my dogs dead whole animals (rabbits, guinea pigs) They also get blood all over their kennel floors. It does not indicate that the body was alive while being eaten. It's from moving the body around with exposed meat. The human's body is so much bigger though - you wouldn't think there'd be that much movement. Who knows, the beast may have done her in. Or had a freshly pre-deceased meal or two. |
