Guilty of a crime or not, that guy has to live with laying over his dead friend after a crash he caused for the rest of his life. He'll never get over that regardless of the outcome of a criminal investigation.

I wonder why the front passenger hit the windshield if the airbag deployed? In a lot of these car accident pics it puzzles me how some of them died having only relatively minimal or frequently survivable injuries.

The car could only be so strong for what it had to do. A steel barrier ripped the side open. I would say that very few cars would do any better. It didnt flip. In hit the barrier and was spit off and the rear smashed through that little brick wall.

The airbag broke the windshield. Not him. Alot of the newer cars have airbags that go straight up , then out towards the passenger.
