Re: Dominican Republic - American Woman Found Bound + Strangled
Being that she was a teacher, she may have been working to teach local youth, or perhaps retired there?

Re: Dominican Republic - American Woman Found Bound + Strangled
She was reportedly an English teacher at a school in Mariposa where she is said to have been well liked by locals. The school is part of an initiative to take improvised girls away from a life on the streets and give them skills to stop them being exploited. She was married to an American who lives in that country, she maintained an exemplary life because she was never seen or involved in extramarital affairs, but in social, community and support activities in favor of young people, children and adults who need guidance in the Cabarete area. 8 people were arrested, a male Haitian maintenance worker in the apartment complex had moved into two days before her death is among those in custody, reports claim. Authorities are reportedly reviewing security camera footage from near the building where she lived. The building is secured with a perimeter fence and a large iron gate and the doorbell must be used to access, which causes suspicion of how its killers were able to penetrate the house. An informant, who since 1982 resides there, revealed that a few weeks ago the victim was involved in a discussion with a German because the owners of the school where she worked were interested in buying some land for the construction of their facilities, but he tried to frustrate the action, which was answered vigorously by the American woman. The building has French, Canadian, German, Dutch and Haitian tenants. Those arrested are Juan José Andújar Mella (Jeffrey), Euri Flores Hernández (Yikiú), Alexis Mckinley (Makajal) of Haitian nationality. Junior Alexis Caseres (Lichen) of Haitian nationality While they are fugitives, Reyner Manuel Chirino Silva (El Venezolano), and Lousito Gadol and / or Chicho, all residents in Santo Domingo. Jeffrey told investigators that those who tied and gagged the victim were the Venezuelan and Lousito Gadol. |
