Cambodia - Teenage Boy Hanged Himself in His Bedroom
On the evening of 13th December 2019 in Stung Sen (Cambodia), 17 year old T.D. was found dead his bedroom. The boy's mother, 48 year old S.S., stated that he had come home the previous day + gone straight to his room. When 'T' didn't come down for dinner the next day, 'S' went to his room. After receiving no answer to her knocking on his door, she entered the room + was met with the sight of her son hanging from the ceiling. 'T' had committed suicide. An article stated that 'T' had been 'frustrated' with his parents.

frustration in teens is not a cake walk. Too bad he couldn't vent his frustrations to his parents to resolve it. Bet it was over something insignificant like most teen frustrations.

Kellyhound is 100% correct. I was a Paramedic for over 15 yrs and responded to many suicides involving minors. Teens distraught over a teenage breakup or arguments with their parents. Too young to realize the deadly mistake when their emotions are out of control. Sad.

Trust me, the boy was lucky to skip it all. Nothing special about being an adult, only more pain and suffering awaits

It surely can't help in places like this where families live in barns, where the more trivial teenage concerns blend even further into the background of what adults can really care about.
