I have a hard time translating from Bengali and Punjabi and Hindi and every other language and dialect that occurs in India, so my details on this event are sketchy.

But the gist is clear. Young housewife was despondent over family problems. Husband left. Husband cheated. Husband gambled away the money. Not sure. Husband did something and her method of conflict resolution was to hang herself and use her weird, little, potato-headed progeny as a counterweight.

I'm sure hubby is feeling appropriately punished for his perfidy. His macrocephalic son is dead. His wife peed on the rustic flooring. No one's going to iron his best plaid shirt. And there's a random topless man in a blue dress stealing priceless treasures from his ultra-modern, open-concept corrugated tin shack.

Fucking India. Remember to be thankful for the shit you have, folks. Cuz some people never have it half as good as you.

Edit: I have been informed by one of our Indian members that this incident occurred in Bangladesh rather than Bengal, as I had originally translated. So...not India after all. In case any of you were worried.

Had to have been really distraught. Seems like way too many suicides over there, relatively speaking, life must truly suck. No matter how bad life can get, I am so grateful to be born in a 'civilized' country.

Man, you're on the wrong site if you've been here almost two years and still can't learn to find the levity in this shit.

I assume that you must not have any friends within the medical, law enforcement, emergency services, military, mortuary arts, or forensic science fields. I have plenty and with very few exceptions, gallows humor features heavily into most of their interactions with the world and certainly with one another.

If you're coming to this site stiff-necked and hyper-sensitive to the feelings of the multitude of stiffs, floaters, swingers, bleeders, skinnies, fatties, stinkers, and rotters we feature here...then you should probably just move on.

This isn't a survivor support group or a 'victim friendly' cuddle-fest. There are plenty of those on the internet if that's your bag, but most of us are here to look at fucked up shit and shake our heads, laughing while casually shrugging with the knowledge that this could be any one of us some day.

Never said you had to laugh. Just that there's not much point in pissing in the ear of the people who do. If you're too sensitive to roll with the punches when people crack wise about the deaders, the tone of the site might not be fully compatible with your personality.
