Re: Depressed Woman:Shoots Herself with Revolver
People can be in such a state of mind and/or intoxication that they don't register pain like a normal person. They may register pain slowly, at a reduced level or not at all for a period of time. Some hypnotized subjects can undergo surgery without anesthesia. And everyone knows the story of the Buddhist monk that soaked himself in gasoline, lit himself on fire and sat perfectly still while he burned to a crisp over a rather protracted period of time. Many people have been shot and not felt a thing and sometimes not even realized it for quite a while. Especially in the heat of battle or other emotionally charged event. Of course, the pain does show up eventually. I know of one woman that used a .22 rifle and shot herself a bunch of times until she finally hit her heart. Apparently, aiming a gun pointing backwards and hitting your own heart while in a suicidal state is not necessarily as easy as it may seem. It looks to me like multiple shots to the upper chest would not have been immediately fatal whereas the shots through the bra had a better chance of hitting the heart. |

Re: Depressed Woman:Shoots Herself with Revolver
Disturbing (good) story. Is she still around? What did she do with the rest of her life? What were her thoughts on the 'asshole guy' and her suicide attempt after all that suffering? He saw he really loved her, married her and they lived happily ever after on half a lung? Sounds like you had some carnal knowledge of that scar. On half a lung, does she go "meh!..meh!..meh!" instead of "Ohhhh.....ohhhh.....ohhhh" when aroused? |
