Delivery Worker Suffers Amputation in Tlalpan, Mexico City, May 22, 2020
A delivery worker suffered traumatic amputation injuries in San Lorenzo Huipulco, Tlalpan, Mexico City, on May 22, 2020, after a compact car struck the rear of his cargo truck. The worker, reported to be about 40 years old, was standing behind the truck and arranging cleaning products when the collision pinned his legs between the vehicles. When the car reversed, he fell to the roadway with at least one leg amputated. Accounts did not consistently establish whether one or both legs were severed. Bystanders used belts as improvised tourniquets until emergency personnel arrived. The injured worker was taken to a hospital, but his subsequent condition and whether he survived were not reported. Police detained the driver and took him, the car and the cargo truck to the local Ministerio Publico for investigation. The driver was not publicly identified, and the outcome of the investigation is unknown. |

Well, since they only have 45 city ambulances for a city of 7 million people, I would say that he will not be getting his leg put back on.
