Just a little bit of info: Rob Hall and Scot Fisher were considered the best climbers in the world at the time they died.

I highly recommend reading "Into Thin Air," by Jon Krakauer, who happened to be on the mountain during "The Really Bad Day."

Fuck, I just finished reading that book yesterday! It gives a hell of an insight into the chaos and carnage that goes on up there. And the bone crushing cold, and lack of oxygen. It's not a nice place to be when things go wrong....

Nobody is going to drag your sorry ass back down the mountain when it all goes wrong.
