Re: Death Discussion Thread
Hi Thanks Simone! It cites the book "Final Exit: The Practicalities of Self-Deliverance and Assisted Suicide for the Dying". Any idea if it's possible to find a pdf version of the book free to download? |

Re: Death Discussion Thread
No problem. I'm not familiar with downloadable books + whatnot, so I'm not sure if this is it: https://silo.pub/final-exit-the-prac...d-edition.html or: https://www.researchgate.net/publica..._for_the_Dying or: https://www.pdfdrive.com/final-exit-...185027067.html

Re: Death Discussion Thread
Well that's only for parts of America and perhaps Africa and the Middle East. I live in a civilized part of the world. I tried drowning last week. Sure, I didn't mind suffering just a tiny bit. My intense urge for suicide could perhaps overpower my body's instinctive reflex in trying to stay afloat and gasp for oxygen. But no I couldn't but it was worth a try. I was quickly rescued out of the water though. I'd say guns, knives and ropes are pathetic methods. I like my method like I like my women: easy, clean and not a pain in the ass. |

Re: Death Discussion Thread
Please seek professional help before you end up succeeding. I'm sure that you have friends/family that would be devastated if you took your own life. It's never too late to turn things around.

Re: Death Discussion Thread
Here's one way! "On April 20, 2008, lifting off from Paranagua, Brazil, in an attempt to fly 725 km (450 mi) inland to Dourados, Brazil, Adelir Antonio de Carli flew using a chair suspended under 1,000 party balloons, reaching an altitude of 20,000 feet (6,100 m). Not having checked the weather forecast, he got caught in a storm. He had a GPS but did not know how to operate it. He was last heard on the radio eight hours after liftoff approaching the water after flying off the coast, unable to give his position, and crashed in the Atlantic Ocean; the lower half of his body was found by the Brazilian Navy near an offshore oil platform on July 4, 2008. The act won him a 2008 Darwin Award." |
