Recent, high-profile case that happened in Thailand, a country well-known on this site for its ruthless censorship.

A 25-year-old Polish businessman, J.J.L-F., who had an advertising business registered in London, was accused of butchering his 24-year-old Ukrainian partner, A.S., who worked as a model, in a condo in Bang Kho Laem district, Bangkok.

The couple had checked into the condo back on April 29th. On May 15th, J. was caught on CCTV hurriedly leaving the condo with his luggage.

While in a taxi, the extremely anxious J. started to use Google Translate for help in dismembering A.'s body, before offering the taxi driver around $45 for his assistance in the task.

After dropping J. off, the taxi driver contacted the hotel with his concerns. When staff burst into the room, they found the deed had already been done.

A.'s face was covered in blood and her head had been partially severed with a deep slash from her neck to her left shoulder. Her left hand had also been cut off at the wrist while paramedics found a stab wound on her chest. Police then discovered a 2ft long saw coated in blood that had been bought from a nearby hardware store next to her corpse.

J. was apprehended, probably while attempting to cross the border into Cambodia.
