Heart attack? Dropped her basket on the way down. Don't see any signs that anyone else was there with her. (No totally mysterious missing cranial pieces, or ax embedded in her chest) (Unless she had donuts in her little basket, and someone stole them.) |

Looks, based only on the photo, like natural causes, ie myocardial infarction (heart attack), aneurism, stroke, or something. She probably had the cash in here hand, as well as the basket. During one of these events she would have most likely dropped the heavier item, the basket and still been able to finish the step or stride she had taken. She would have then started to see the familiar "stars" or "spots" you see as your brain is deprived of oxygen. Attempting to relieve this she would have attempted to sit down. As she got to the sitting upright position and still felt light headed, now with an onset of nausea, she would most likely lay back to recover. At this point she may be experiencing a "thunderclap" headache (aneurism or stroke) or severe chest or jaw pain (heart attack). In all three cases she may grasp at her clothes as she is dealing with the pain. Only for a few seconds however because she probably suffered from hypoxia (low oxygen in blood) shortly after laying back and passed out. This would explain the positioning. Just an educated guess based on the photo alone. |
