Young Lady Killed by Her Girlfriend's Homophobic Father
Late on Saturday 6th January 2018, in Samambaia, 23 year old Anne Mickaelly Monteiro Mendonça, was attacked by her girlfriend's father. Anne went to her girlfriend's house as they had wanted to let people know that they wanted to get married. 46 year old José Roberto Brito Moreira, the father of Anne's 23 year old girlfriend, was enraged to hear this + the 46 year old picked up a knife + ran after Anne. She was stabbed in the head + face. She died on the spot + the man fled. The funeral took place on 11th January. Anne had previously been in an abusive relationship with a man. She leaves behind a 2 year old son. **There doesn't seem to be any photos of her body, I've searched loads but only found the image with her covered up. I also can't find the name or photo of her girlfriend nor a photo of José.**    |

I have heard of a few murders like this, dads murdering their own daughters (and daughters gf) because of their sex orientation. Wonder if any mothers have killed their gay child or gay childs partner. |
