The victim has been identified as a 48YO taxi-driver (Svay Rieng-Phnom Penh).
He was living in Trapeang Ri (ត្រពាំងរី) village, Kampong Ampil (កំពង់អំពិល) commune, Romduol (រំដួល) district, Svay Rieng province.
He had 2 wives (មានប្រពន្ធ២នាក់), an official wife and a concubine (ប្រពន្ធដើម និងប្រពន្ធចុង).
He was identified by his 2 wives and child after he didn't return home for several days. They saw on the news that a corpse was found and went together to the Cham Chov police office in the evening of October 15 2016. The identified the victim as their husband/father.

The wives were identified as a 46YO woman with 4 children (among them 1 daughter), living together with the victim, and a 33YO female garment worker born in Taa Hong village, Ondong Puthi commune, Romeas Haek district, Svay Rieng province.

The wives told the police that a white SSanyong vehicle (Phnom Penh 2AB-4728) and a golden ring (weight 1 chi) disappeared.

Before the victim disappeared a 30YO taxi driver from the same village, identified as Soo Chea aka Uk (សូ ផា ហៅ អ៊ូក), booked the victim's car for 250USD (roundtrip). After agreeing on the price they left their home on October 12 2016 at 4AM.
The wife was in contact with her husband by telephone until the evening (of the same day).
