I've always thought this was kind of a badass move to use that picture for the album cover. I wonder why his family didn't contest this if they destroyed all the pictures apparently?

Varg from Burzum took the pictures with a disposable camera and then went to a store to buy carrots and peas and made brain soup with Dead (the guy in the album) brain. This isn't an actual album, it was actually stolen and made into a fake album. Also their are a few bands the have Deads skull fragments as necklaces. Hail Former Mayhem! |

i remember reading a book on black metal this story was in it, the founding member and singer of mayhem, Euronymous, did rearrange the scene and take photos but also took bits of deads skull and made necklaces out of them and then handed them out to musicians he thought worthy....totally sick shit, hollywood couldnt come up with a better tale.   |
