The rumor about it being staged is that his friend found him, and repositioned the gun so it would be in the picture. As far as I know he didn't move the body though.  |

yeah, that's what it looked like to me, especially seeing as how there's a knife with the blade sitting ON the gun and the barrel is pointing away from the exit spray

The guitarest met his maker too, I can't find any pictures though but here is what info I did find: In 1993, Øystein Aarseth was fatally stabbed by Varg Vikernes, at the time going by the alias "Count Grishnackh". According to official reports Øystein received a total of twenty-three wounds: two to the head, five to the neck, and sixteen to the back. Vikernes disputes this, claiming instead that Aarseth fell back on broken glass, accounting for the high number of back punctures found on the corpse. anyone want to join their band, i hear they are still touring |
