Re: Davao Death Squad - DDS

Vigilante justice has happened here as well. The turn of the century (1900) was a good example. Looks as though we're about ready for another round as the prison system is a joke.

Re: Davao Death Squad - DDS

Don't really like the delinquent part of all this. A kid is considered a delinquent if he or she skips school and goes to the mall(or something similar). Or what about smoking a cigarette in the little hangout in the woods. Or enjoying a bit of weed. Or some one could just be wearing a hoodie and walking down a dark street and they are thought to look like a "delinquent" up to no good.
IDK about this.
Oh someone says they target drug users and drug pushers. Drug users...so they kill the people enjoying some weed. What about the people who abuse prescription drugs? Or the doctors who keep prescribing these prescription drugs to people abusing them?

Re: Davao Death Squad - DDS

If their targets are actually criminals, drug-traffickers corrupt officials and so on, and before they're told to leave the city and never return but don't comply then i don't see the problem: at least they spare taxpayers money with endless and useless trials. If they are on state of emergency due to crime, they're just taking exceptional countermeasures, and the one who is honest has nothing to fear.
Great thread BTW
Better serve justice that way but if it goes on , its bound to become corrupted system in the future when they realized how much power and scare their group can give to the people...

the cartels are untrained men with guns..
If we sent a few platoons of Navy frogmen to take them out, they would have a fucking chance..

Re: Davao Death Squad - DDS

Somewhat effective I guess, until retaliation takes effect.
What retaliation? Dead people don't usually do that. As for their friends.... same treatment.
