I'm always on about it too Thanks for the link. I've posted some great early guillotene images in this section and I think he may be on one of them. Just use 'guillotene' as a keyword in Search Forum

It's not an upside-down cross, it's a inverted viking rune called an Algiz Reversed or Merkstave symbolizing hidden danger, consumption by divine forces, loss of divine link, taboo, warning, turning away, that which repels.

An upright Algiz symbolizes life and goodness, while the inverted Algiz represents death and evil.
