Confirmed today that this was a Cartel hit directed at the male driver. The girl, who has not yet been identified, was not suspected to be an intentional part of the hit and was executed just for being with him. *snicker* Side note...the guy was ID'd by his wife. She could not ID the girl as she had never seen her before and had no idea why she was in a car with her husband.  Here's the sign that they hung up yesterday to take credit for the kill.  · |

Finally managed to run down an antemortem image of this woman. No easy task. Mexicans often use fake FB names anyway and she didn't have an account at all, or it was closed by her family after she died. Eventually got one, though. From a girl on a soccer team with her. I believe the decedent was an assistant coach on the team. Anyway, I always strongly prefer to provide antemortem images of decedents and often won't even post mediocre sets if they aren't included. I think she's even wearing the same damned lipstick she had on when she took two bullets to the chest!  · |
