Couple Shot Down in the Street
This young couple (he has been identified as 27, she is not yet ID'd as of this writing) were leaving a liquor store in their Jetta when a motorcycle with two armed men intercepted them. For whatever reason, instead of just gunning the VW or hitting the motorcycle or whatever, they chose to bank the car on the sidewalk and flee on foot. The young woman ran about 6 meters while they were executing the man at the car. According to witnesses however, she glanced back at the proceedings and then tripped and fell on the sidewalk. The men fired at her from the car but missed and then fired a few more times, hitting her in the chest before she could rise again. Bystanders reported that she was a little while in dying, screaming, squirming around, clutching her chest, and making a general mess on the sidewalk as the killers took off on the motorcycle. She had expired by the time the ambulance arrived. No motive is yet known for the killing, but it is expected to be a targeted hit.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

A source stated that a drunk man turned up at the scene claiming the man to be his son. He then apologised to the police saying he'd made a mistake |
