 My great Uncle had his common law wife cremated and he ended up a hoarder. He lost his trailer house and land to the IRS. His daughter came to clear out his things and ended up donating most of the stuff to Goodwill Industries. They searched the phone book and eventually called my grandmother to see if she would come pick up the cremated remains of my Great Uncles Common Law Wife. Grandma went down and picked up the box. To this day I have no idea what became of it. I don't even ask. Grandma is dead and buried but where is that box of ashes? Moral of the story: Check carefully through things you donate. |
