Re: Colorado Man Fell Off 39th Floor to His Death

For the love of all that is holy. NOTHING posted on DR is going to embarrass anyone NEAR as much as what he posted on his own Facebook profile. Oh & where he worked- that fb profile too. UNREAL I'm seriously so embarrassed for the guy.
I'm sorry for your loss as well. Seems like somebody should contact fb as soon as possible to plead on his behalf. It's not the kind of memory ANYONE would want to leave behind.

I don't trust the Thai police. Thailand is a death trap for all non-thais. sorry for your loss.
I mean tbh the dude called them (the Thai people) monkeys (posted it) so...I'd imagine that didn't go over so well.

Re: Colorado Man Fell Off 39th Floor to His Death

Gotta say this though: Pretty interesting guy, you can tell he's loved by many. Seemed like a big kid at heart who would do anything for a buddy. I hate that the lifestyle & drugs got the best of him...it's a slippery slope- but he really seemed to have a heart of gold.

Re: Colorado Man Fell Off 39th Floor to His Death

That's tragic

A good friend of ours tried to step from his balcony to his elderly neighbours who was locked out. He slipped and fell 4 floors headfirst. He had an open facial fracture and a broken neck. His mother wasn't allowed to view his face when she went to id him. A great guy sadly missed.

Re: Colorado Man Fell Off 39th Floor to His Death

And the keys part was just laughable. So did he want out or did he lose his keys? What about calling someone instead of dangling from a roof? I call bs either way.
Maybe being a veteran and all, and used to be able to do anything he can think of, thought he can still do it forgetting he is now older than he was when he was still very able.

Many elderly people still thinks they can do what they used to do.

Foreigners in thailand always fall off from heights. The best is stay away from thailand.

Re: Colorado Man Fell Off 39th Floor to His Death

I talked to a dude last week, who fell 17 stories, landed head first, broke his neck and spine in four places, TBI, broken shoulder, shoulder blade, radius and ulna, humorous, every rib, his sternum, both legs upper and lower, both ankles. was expected to die, upgraded to a retarded quadriplegic, upgraded to a paraplegic, and held a complete conversation with him one year later.

it was an honor to even speak to him
