It's not even a slipknot is it? Looks like some sort of climber's knot or similar. If she fell from where she tied the rope to the tree, she had a fairly long drop and quite posibly broke her neck. The knot may have been at the side and moved under her chin when it took her weight, which would actually be the perfect location to dislocate her neck. Certainly her head is forced back quite a bit.

I don't know how true this is, but I have heard that if the knot is to either side of the head, then the neck most likely will snap. If the knot is at the back of the neck, they die from strangling. Like I said, that's just what I have heard....but I've never heard anything about the knot being in the front, like this....and the knot isn't even against her throat. Idk, I hope she didn't suffer long.
