Chuan Wan Chooi Found Dead in Kuala Lumpur Water Tank, May 12, 2015
Chuan Wan Chooi, 43, was found dead inside a condominium water tank on Jalan Semantan in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, at about 9 p.m. on May 12, 2015. Residents had complained for days of foul-smelling tap water before management discovered his decomposed body. Chuan, an auto-parts salesman who had disappeared on May 7, was neither a resident nor an employee of the condominium. Brickfields police chief ACP Muhammad Azlee Abdullah said CCTV showed Chuan walking alone toward the tank room. Police could not explain how he entered, as the room was locked and security guards held the keys. A post-mortem examination found no visible injuries and was inconclusive. Police said drowning had been ruled out because there was no water in his lungs. The cause of death remained unexplained while toxicology results were pending. Firefighters recovered the body from the tank room. |

Re: Chuan Wan Chooi Found Dead in Kuala Lumpur Water Tank, May 12, 2015
i was wondering the same thing. I read no injuries but he was mutilated. Than I see the photo says water tank, refuting what OP said in post. I found an article that is titled "man found dead in septic tank" but than starts the article off with him being found in a water tank. Maybe that's what they call them over there? |
