Chinese Woman Killed by Guard Rails
Ms. Fu, a female graduate student of an university in Wuhan, China, died after she accidentally stuck her neck between the guard rails. She was returning to campus after winter break and due to the ground being wet after raining, she slipped just after getting off a bus, tumbled and fell to her death. |

Re: Chinese Woman Killed by Guard Rails
So what, exactly, killed her? Her neck was between the metal rails so they didn't pierce or break it. Was it the compression, shutting off the blood flow through her carotid arteries so quickly that she didn't have time to extricate herself?

Crushed wind pipe. I bet she fell dead on with full momentum onto that horizontal plate.
