Chinese Tourist Hangs Herself in Indonesia

Just hanging out at the beach, taking out her frustrations on whatever sad bastard is trying to sell Cold Drinks in that ramshackle hut.

32 year old Chinese woman traveling on a Korean passport was found hanging by passersby on the beach. Her ID and valuables were all enclosed in a bag sitting near her body, though no note was included.

As this death happened in Indonesia, a rather extensive police report accompanied the newspaper article.
She was estimated to have been dead around 3 hours at the time of discovery. The scene and her corpse were checked by police personnel and the aforementioned valuables were noted.

The report indicated that her body exhibited all of the expected signs of death by asphyxiation and had no marks of violence aside from those likely self-inflicted during the process of her death:

1.Her tongue was swollen, visibly protruding past her lips, and clenched between her front teeth.
2.She had petechiae present in the sclerae of both eyes.
3.There was bruising on the fingers of both hands consistent with them being trapped against the cloth of the noose.
4. There were bruises noted on both elbows, as well, which were consistent with them banging into the wooden supports of the hut while she 'danced.'
5. Her pants and underwear were soaked with urine, consistent with a peri-mortem bladder release, as is very common in hanging suicides.

Judging by the bruises on her elbows and the differing positions that her flip-flops went flying, I would suspect she did quite a bit of thrashing back and forth in the agonies of strangulation.
