It has not been proven either way, but Oswald could have done it.

I have fired the exact model of rifle - in the exact caliber - that Oswald had. I could definitely have made the fatal shot myself. Easily. Those WWI rifles were manufactured with 1,000+ yard shots in mind.


Also, Kennedy wanted to reign in/eliminate an out-of-control CIA which may explain some things.


The fact is, nobody really knows exactly how it really went down.
